Paper Heart Flower
- White paper
- Green paper
- Green paper straws
- Paper clips
Instructions: Here’s one of the best Valentine crafts for kids! Cut out a flower from your white paper or colored paper. If the paper is white, instruct your kids to color the flower. Next, cut a circle out of yellow paper and glue it in the center of your flower. You could write ‘I love you!’ on that yellow circle. Next, glue a green paper straw at the back of your flower and you’re done making your flower.
But wait, where’s the heart? To make the heart, all you have to do is first fold the flower in half, then again at a right angle, and again at an angle of 45 degrees. You’ll need to push the folds inside the flower shape to finally make the heart. It might be a little tricky but once you get it done, there’s nothing like it! Next, draw a bee (or simply print it!) with your marker and stick the bee to your paper heart flower. Once you add your ‘stem’, don’t forget to make a leaf for the stem too. Fingerprint Love Tree
- Black marker
- 2 sheets of white paper
- Red and pink paints
Instructions: Fold one sheet of paper in half and draw a half-heart shape on it. Next, cut out that heart. Once you’ve got a heart outline on this sheet of paper, place it on your other sheet of paper and secure it with tape. Take your black marker and use it to draw a simple tree within the heart outline. Next, dab your thumbs and fingers into your red and pink tapes and press your fingers onto your ‘love tree’! This is one of the most simple Valentine crafts for kids to make at home.
Paper Plate Bee
- 2 paper plates
- Yellow craft paint
- White and black paint
- Pink, red, and black craft foam sheets
Instructions: To begin making one of the most fun and easy Valentine crafts for kids, first paint one of your paper plates yellow. Cut your other paper plate in half. Now, take your black craft foam sheet and cut out half a large oval, 2 strips, and 2 small circles for the antennas, a small triangle, and 3 wide strips. Stick those 3 strips across your yellow plate to make it look like the stripes of a bee. Stick the triangle at the bottom of your plate for the stinger. Glue your half oval shape on the top of your plate for the head. Use your white and black paints to draw the eyes of the bee right below the half oval shape. Finally, glue a couple of hearts to your bee, with the words ‘bee mine!’ written on them. Cute, isn’t it?
- Red card stock
- White acrylic paint
Instructions: Paint your rocks bright white, and stick them with glue on your red card stock, in the shape of a heart! That’s all there is to it. If you want, you could even write something within the heart. Something that’s apt for Valentine’s Day! You could even print a few pictures of you and your loved ones and stick them on the card, or within the heart.

This is one of the best Valentine crafts for kids that help improve motor skills.
- Colored paper
- Heart stickers
Instructions: Cut many hearts out of colored paper and use those hearts as love notes! Write a sweet message on each love note and place them inside pretty envelopes. You could make simple envelopes on your own and paint them pink. Next, seal each of them with heart stickers! If you don’t have heart stickers, you could simply cut more hearts out of colored paper and stick them with glue/tape on your envelope to seal it shut.
- Colored paper
Instructions: The best Valentine crafts for kids are those that spark creativity! In this activity, cut wide strips of different colored paper.
