Procedure 

• Pour a cup of water into the glass jar. 
• Add a few bean seeds into the glass jar containing water. 
• Soak the beans for 24 hours in the water. 
• Take out the bean seeds from the jar and place them on a tissue paper. 
• Dry the excess amount of water on the bean seeds. 
• Split the bean seeds into half with your fingernails. 
• Spread the two halves of the bean seeds on the tissue paper. 
• Observe the parts of a bean seed using the magnifying glass.
