5 x 2 is actually 6 + 5 and 7 x 2 is the same as 7 + 7.

4 times tables

Double it twice. It is easily a matter of doubling the digit and then doubling the solution. For instance, 4 x 5 is 5 + 5 = 10 and 10 + 10 = 20. 4 x 5 = 20.

Teach them Early

Be it on their way to school each morning, walking into the market roads or when a child is enjoying a bath; teach them till they are totally comfortable writing their 6 times tables chart and can answer any question thrown at them, such as 6 x 6, in a moment.

Teaching must be done once the child has accustomed to their multiplication tables or a set of digits. Teachers or parents must start teaching in sequence.   • A few children might find this method quite easy. 6 times a digit is 5 times a number, plus another number. So to calculate the same, 6 x 7, 5 x 7 = 35, then sum up another 7 to get 42. Or to find 6 x 12, 5 x 12 = 60, then add another 12 to get 72.
